Eight people walked into the Dick's Sporting Goods at 2105 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township on Monday, July 20, grabbed armfuls of Nike clothing, and ran out without paying, according to Bloomfield Township police.

The group stole 113 Nike apparel items worth approximately $10,800, police said. The theft happened at about 5:15 p.m.

It was the second group retail theft at the same store in two days.

The day before, on Sunday, July 19, a separate group of eight people ages 17 to 25 stole miscellaneous merchandise from the same Dick's Sporting Goods at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to a Bloomfield Township police report. No dollar value for the Sunday theft has been released.

The Bloomfield Township Police Department described the Monday incident as a "flash rob" in a July 21 press release and is asking for the public's help identifying the eight individuals involved.

No arrests have been announced in either case. Police have not released detailed descriptions of the suspects beyond the group size and the age range for the July 19 group.
