Band students from across Bloomfield Hills Schools will perform together Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the district's Band-O-Rama concert.
The event brings bands in grades five through 12 to the Bloomfield Hills High School gymnasium for a single evening showcase. The concert begins at 7 p.m., according to a North Hills Middle School announcement.
North Hills Middle School's sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands are among the performers. The school said families can compare performances across grades and hear how students’ musical skills develop. Every grade level will be featured, the school said.
Students performing with the North Hills bands should arrive at the gymnasium by 6:30 p.m. The school's dress code calls for black pants with black socks or a knee-length or longer black skirt with black tights. Students should also wear black dress shoes and the NHMS black music polo shirt tucked in.
