Bloomfield Township’s Planning Commission will review a covered patio amendment for a 35-unit housing development near Telegraph Road at a public meeting Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The commission will consider an amended site plan for the Enclave at Bloomfield, a single-family cluster housing development planned for 7200 and 7400 Telegraph Road. The project sits on the west side of Telegraph, north of 14 Mile Road. The amendment would add covered rear patios to the development, according to a public notice posted by the township.

The Enclave meeting was rescheduled from Monday, Oct. 19, at the applicant’s request. The Board of Trustees approved the development’s site plan with conditions on Dec. 8, 2025, according to the township’s official proceedings summary.

After reviewing the amended plan, the commission will send a recommendation to the Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees for final action.

The same evening, the commission will hold a separate public hearing on a site plan and special land use proposal at 1863 Squirrel Road. The proposal, filed under the name F. Migliazzo, calls for the restoration of an existing private stable on the property. The notice says the Board of Trustees will consider that proposal after receiving the commission’s recommendation.

Andrea Szajnecki, Bloomfield Township’s director of planning, building and ordinance, signed both public notices. Both notices list Oct. 15 as their posting date.

The commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Bloomfield Township Hall, 4200 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. Residents can submit public comments by email at [email protected] or by mail to the Planning, Building and Ordinance Department at the same address. The phone number is 248-433-7795.

The full Planning Commission packet is scheduled to be available on the township’s Documents on Demand page by the end of business Wednesday, Oct. 28. Residents can also watch the meeting live on Comcast Channel 15, AT&T Channel 99 or on the township’s website.
